Senior Living Communities

BeFriender Ministry in Senior Living Communities

BeFriender Ministry offers a complete model of training and support for a ministry of care that can be a gift in senior living communities for both staff and residents.

When the community is enriched by compassionate connections among residents, staff, volunteers and families;
when a resident feeling isolated and alone experiences a caring connection;
When a family member with an aging parent can share their story with a listening presence;
When a staff member sees the care given by trained volunteers that supports the vitality of their community;

-that is the gift of BeFriender Ministry

Chaplain John

“The BeFriender teams on our campuses have been invaluable in doing phone ministry with fellow residents during this time of social isolation. Some campuses have divided their total population among the BeFrienders so that everyone gets an occasional call!”
